He does not celebrate his birthday but is aware that it was that date.

Son of Han Solo and Leia Organa.
Grandmother Padme.
Benjamin has always preferred Ben to his title. Secretly though, he yearns to be called Benji. He doesn’t remember much of his childhood before Father Palpatine became his sole custodian, but that particular nickname evokes warm feelings of being loved and cared for.
He likes to cook basic meals and makes bread from scratch in a small kitchen. Has a green thumb. He loved tending to the cathedral garden; it had become his only escape. He even created a small veggie patch to grow vegetables to cook for them both and give the rest to those in need of fresh produce.
Ben is intelligent, and capable of being very dedicated to his studies.
Determined and attentive.
He knows several languages and has vigorous religious education underneath Palpatine’s guidance.
Ben is sensitive and intuitive.

Ben was led to believe that he was left in the sole custody of Father Palpatine at age three willing by his parents.The religious fanatic and zealot was infamous monster hunter whose life's work was to eradicate the world of the ungodly, damned and abomination of supernatural beings and creatures. Palpatine trained and manipulated the young impressionable Ben to fulfill a “destiny” and to carry on the aging Father’s mission to hunt and kill all supernaturals.Palpatine had trained other hunters before, but they tended not to have a long-life expectancy. This is why Ben Solo has been through rigorous training and indoctrination to ensure he would not fail or defy Palpatine who was always an unloving, cold and cruel man. Determination and stubbornness fueled his mission to kill those he believed are an abomination to the Lord. He switched off all concern for things that got in his way. Palpatine was never affectionate or considerate of Ben and his emotional needs. Palpatine had been manipulating and grooming Ben to use in battle and make Ben a more cunning hunter. There were many beatings and ridiculous physical demands on Ben and it was hard for the emotionally driven Ben to follow everything Palpatine instructed. See the solo section for more, but Ben killed Father Palpatine to protect both himself and another after Palpatine revealed in anger that Ben in fact was a witch as were his family. The elderly father claimed to have slaughtered Ben's family and attempted to create a solider from their child. Distraught Ben realizes the sick truth and how Palpatine played him to kill his own kind. This is slowly being revealed on TL. Any questions, feel free to ask. Also, lots more to come.

Hi, all! So I am not a catholic priest named Ben, and actually not catholic myself. The character may be religious and abound with dark themes, but don't take what he says (or doesn't say) as an accurate representation of Catholicism. 😅 I just try and add in details I have found myself when getting in character. It's not meant to be an accurate portrayal it's just part of his character's story.Interacting does not need to have religious overtones. Plots can exist outside that realm entirely if you feel hesitant but interested to write.I also apologise if my lack of understanding of theology is offensive, just trying my best to make Ben appear authentic as possible to my head canon ideas I had when I created this character. - Thanks.
